Mu-Upsilon Chapter


History

The Mu Upsilon Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon focuses on community service and brotherhood. On July 19th, 2008 the members of the Mu Upsilon Chapter acquired a brand new beautiful house on 306 W Willow. For over 5 years, the Teke's have been eagerly attempting to get a new house on campus due to their increasing numbers. An alumni board, along with the Mu-Upsilon Housing Corporation, discussed ways to bring a new house to Illinois State Univerity. After much negotiation fraters were able to come together and obtain this magnificent new house...

This chapter was first Started when Michael S. Milinac transferred from Carroll College to Illinois State University and worked with Michael W. Pecoraro and Jeffrey J. Slain to form the foundations of this chapter. The Mu-Upsilon Chapter was established November 22, 1969.
